Description
This is one of the best pieces I've done in the last 2 months. I love how it came out. And it was done without any references (which it shouldn't when it comes to Elephants thanks to this series: [link]).
Hip Flask and Ebenezer Hide of Elephantmen. I tried to get into this book, but it was hard. Might give it a go again at a later date.
An hour 15 or so.
Sharpie markers over 2B mechanical pencil on sketchpaper.

Fictional characters can be harder to draw without reference, because
missing a seemingly minor detail or two can make all the difference in whether
they look right or just "close".
You got them both down perfectly.
